White Mtn. Lake, Arizona

The final leg of our journey was arriving at my parents house in White Mountain Lake, for those who do not know where in the world this is, it is near the town Snowflake and Showlow. They live "out in the boonies" on 2 acres of desert land and cedar trees right next to my grandmother who owns 8 acres right next door. This is a picture of my parents house or 5th wheel trailer. They have made it very comfortable after installing this huge roof to take the heat directly off of the trailer. They also have solar panels installed for their only source of electricity, a well with water and a septic tank for sewer. The love living here and the grand kids love to visit. The kids like to ride the four wheelers and there is plenty of space for them to do so.Another favorite activity is hunting rabbits and finding indian pottery pieces. This is Jayden's collection. The big piece is not from this trip but the rest of the many pieces are just from this trip. He also found the neatest arrowhead, which sadly he lost while building a tree house. The kids had so much fun building this treehouse, they worked on it for hours and we had to beg them to stop for a bite to eat. I know that they would have loved staying for another week to finish it.

You guys have been quite the travelers. Fun!

Love the Indian pottery piece collection. What unique experiences you're kids are having.

I'm looking forward to seeing you and your family in a few weeks at the ward reunion!

What a perfect time for your family. Your parents have a dream-land for kids! I'll bet they always remember building the tree house and riding quads. That pottery collection is awesome! I would love to see it! Hey! You were only three hours away from us and no visit?!?

Soccer

Soccer
Halen finished up the soccer season last week. This was his third season and he was pretty agressive trying to help his team. He broke his pinky finger being goalie, but it didn't hold him back too much. Grandma and Grandpa Gerber and Jensen came to cheer him on. On one of the days that it looked as if the game would be cancelled due to rain, he said "Oh no, soccer is my life!" His sense of humor has been really something else this summer and he has said many things that have made us laugh.
